In 2017 Neil Laughton asked Tim to join ‘Ireland 360’ to complete a circumnavigation of Ireland by Jetski. The logistical plan was the same as Jetski 2000 as it had worked well; a land based support team with one harbour rendezvous during the day to refuel and again at night to set up camp. Two tanks of fuel each day gave about eight hours of riding, a good balance of rider fatigue and distance in good conditions. The expedition was sponsored by Seadoo and launched from Belfast Harbour in aid of the RNLI and Help for Heroes.

It was most challenging for team mate Rory Mackenzie, an ex-Serviceman who had an above the knee amputation after being hit by a roadside bomb in Basra in 2007. However, Rory quickly proved his ability to ride through the roughest of seas before the team reached the rugged West Coast.

The clockwise route was successfully completed in 13 days and Rory became the first amputee to circumnavigate Ireland by Jetski. Tim and Neil remain the only people to round Mainland Britain and Ireland in this way.
