Tim Maw

Tim and his wife Deana, own and run The Oak Barn, Frame Farm, an award winning eco-venue located in Benenden in Kent. The company has a strong focus on low impact, sustainable events working in harmony with the natural landscape. The converted barns are used year round for weddings, parties, corporate and team building events. 

 

Before their move to Kent, Tim spent 16 years working in the film industry as a Location Manager, producing feature films, television dramas and commercials. His credits include Foyles War, Black Mirror, The Gunman, Get Him To The Greek, The Invisible Woman, The Wolfman and War Horse. 

 

A freelance and self-employed career has allowed frequent and lengthy journeys into the wilderness, often accompanied by Deana who has a similar love of travel and nature. Most of their trips including diving and their son is now a junior diver and shark enthusiast.
